CON_TEXT V - Time to deliver: X³

Here is a ten minute extract from our one hour poetry performance in this June. Probably this was the first 3D poetry/printer reading performance ever (watch the later part, all electronics sounds were coming from the 3D printer in real-time) and handstanding reading. With Daniel MalpicaAmelie BaierCharlotte PauwelynMaría FerraraBarbara LazaraEiji TakedaGustavo Tchubas Mendonça. I miss you, thanks a lot!

Gast Performers (Stimme, Bewegung)
Barbara Lázara, Eiji Takeda , Charlotte Pauwelyn, María Ferrara, Amelie Baier, Grilowsky und Raica

With Daniel Malpica and Tomomi Adachi

Composer and sound artist Tomomi Adachi meets author Daniel Malpica in the fifth edition of our CON_TEXT event series. Their performance will be of an especially peculiar nature: in focus will stand a 3D printer that will produce a model of the letter X as the event unfolds. This process will be nestled twofolds in the performance. Casted performers will be supporting the printing process and the visual level will be linked with Malpica's poetry series "Se escribe con X", translated into German especially for this evening, as well as the poem "Voice Sound Poetry Form Begun with X" by the futurist painter Hide Kinoshita.

The event will be mainly in English with German translation, partially also in Spanish and Japanese.

Guest performers (voice, movement)
Barbara Lázara, Eiji Takeda , Charlotte Pauwelyn, María Ferrara, Amelie Baier, Grilowsky and Raica

The CON_TEXT project is funded by the Berlin Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Europa.
